Chevalier mills are made in the same facility as our grinders: same heavy duty spindles assembled and tested in-house in our ISO9001 certified manufacturing facilities; hardened and ground box ways which are still hand-scraped; heat-treated Meehanite cast iron castings with heavily ribbed frame construction; large diameter, Class C3, 10-pitch ballscrews on all axes, now available with coolant circulation; wider work and access areas for easy loading and unloading of workpieces and oversized bases
