Chevalier Dual Column Machining Center for large part machining. The 104" (Y) x 200" (X) model can mill workpieces up to 33,000lbs. Bigger models up to 130" (Y) x 240" (X) can be special ordered at the factory.
STANDARD FEATURES: Fanuc 18iMB control, 25HP motor, chip flushing system, 40 tool ATC, air purged spindle, spindle oil cooler, 4th axis and 1000psi coolant thru-spindle preps, fully enclosed splash guard and remote MPG.

The dual column VMC machining two (2) machine bases in the same table. Machines with longer columns (up to 11.81" spindle nose to table) can be special ordered from the factory.
Solid, cast iron machine base. The X axis uses no-backlash INA precision roller linear guideways.
Heavy ribbing at the column, extra wide spacing of box ways and close symmetrical design of the Z axis provide rigid and smooth cuts
Large 80mm, hollow ballscrews with coolant circulation eliminates thermal buildup during heavy duty, extended machining cycles.
Options: ZF gearbox, 1000psi coolant-thru-spindle, 35HP 8000rpm spindle, 60 tool ATC, Heindenhain linear scales.
