Multi-layered protection prevents contamination 
  • First layer XY sliding way cover, Z rolling curtain 
  • Second layer XY accordion type cover, Z sliding covers
Specially sealed Tsubaki linear guideways and ballscrews are equipped with multiple accordion type covers.
Fully enclosed tool magazine is separated from the work area.
Curtain-type coolant system prevents dust and other contaminants from entering the bearing area.

Airborne contaminants are taken care of by a heavy duty overhead vacuum system.
New coolant/oil/dirt separation area facilitates easy dirt disposal and quick coolant recycling.
High pressure side washdown system quickly washes the chips and dirt. An ultra fine mesh filtering system in the tank prevents contaminants from recirculating.
