The spindle is supported by 4 Class P4 permanently lubricated angular contact bearings. Circulation grooves on spindle enable oil and air cooling.
Meehanite cast-iron base has been stress analyzed using 3D dynamic simulation analysis. The base and saddle guideway system uses needle roller bearings running on heavy duty slide rails.
Counterbalance system in the spindle vertical drive enhances downfeed accuracy and prolongs ballscrew life.
Y & Z axis manual pulse generator (MPG) for easy operation.
Y & Z axis are powered by Mitsubishi AC servo motors
oSmart B model grinder with 3 axes ballscrew-controlled feature offers powerful and precise creepfeed grinding. Longitudinal feedrate is fully programmable from 0.375ipm to 600ipm.
